Licence activation

Each GridEon licence activates on a single device. Activation is done once and needs internet.

Step 1 · Get your licence key

After purchase, the key appears in your GridEon account, in the licences section.

Step 2 · Connect the device to the internet

The device needs internet at the moment of activation, over cable or WiFi.

Step 3 · Enter the key in the interface

Open the GridEon interface and enter the key when asked. The device sends the key to the GridEon server and receives the licence back, bound to that device.

After activation

GridEon works locally, without internet. The licence and the device show up in your account, under your sites.

Troubleshooting

• Activation fails: check that the device has internet (Settings → Network shows the connection status).
• Key not accepted: check that you copied it completely, with no spaces at the start or end.
