Starting the device

To open the interface, the device must be on the same network as your phone or computer.

Step 1 · Connect the network cable

For the first start, connect the Raspberry Pi to your router with an Ethernet cable, then power it on.

Step 2 · Find the IP address

Open your router's admin page and find the device in the list of connected devices. Note its IP address, for example 192.168.1.50.

Step 3 · Open the interface

In a browser, type the IP address in the address bar, for example http://192.168.1.50. The GridEon main dashboard appears.

Step 4 · Switch to WiFi (optional)

To use WiFi, go to Settings → Network, choose your network and enter the password. Once connected, you can unplug the cable. The WiFi IP address may differ, so check it again in your router.

Troubleshooting

• The device doesn't show up in the router: check the cable and the network port LEDs, then wait a few minutes after power-on.
• The page doesn't open: check that your phone or computer is on the same network, not on mobile data or a guest network.
